Today we had a guest speaker, Hope Lewis, a storyteller.  She told us several folk tales from around the world.  She even told a variant of Cinderella from Ireland where the main character was a boy.  We really enjoyed listening to her tell these stories.  She used such great voices and actions.  We are now excited to begin our reading unit on folk tales from around the world.  We will be learning how to identify different types of folk tales and  discovering different countries in the world that share similar folk tales.
